Kitty Walker (Calista Flockhart)
Kitty Walker is the second eldest in the Walker siblings. Though they love each other, she and her mother always clash with their beliefs. Their relationship became somewhat strained when Kitty supported his younger brother Justin’s decision to join the army while Nora was totally against it. They stopped talking to each other when Justin was deployed in Afghanistan, so Kitty moved to New York and didn’t come home for several years. In New York, she started her successful career as a political commentator, and eventually had her own satellite radio show.

Kitty decided to come home and move back in Los Angeles again when her father died. She was offered a job to be part of a political show in Los Angeles, which she accepts. She then began dating one of her guests, Senator Robert McCallister. They eventually marry when Kitty discovers that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Kitty miscarries which cancels the wedding. When they try for in vitro fertilization, they fail, so they considered adoption. When they got married, they started the adoption process. They eventually adopted a boy named Evan.
Kitty was diagnosed with cancer in season 4. She has undergone bone marrow transplant and the operation was successful.
Kitty is portrayed by Calista Flockhart. Calista is famous for her role as Ally McBeal for which she won a Golden Globe. In June 15, 2010, Calista married actor Harrison Ford after more than seven years together.
