Kevin is the fourth of the Walker siblings. Kevin is a lawyer who often counseled his family in legal matters. He is also gay. His father had trouble accepting his sexuality when he came out in his senior year in high school but Nora had been very supportive. He married his boyfriend Scotty Wandell in a beautiful ceremony at Nora’s house, officiated by Kitty.

Kevin left his job at a prestigious firm when he got passed over for partner. Soon, he began working as communications director for Kitty’s husband, Robert. The family also found out that he was Elizabeth’s father when Elizabeth needed a liver donor and Tommy asks Kevin and Justin for a paternity test. Because of this incident, he became more attached to Elizabeth. Because of this, Scotty was convinced that he would make a good father so they decided to give parenthood a try. They soon recruited Scotty’s friend, Michelle as a surrogate.

Kevin Walker is played by the actor Matthew Rhys. Matthew is a Welsh actor, born in the city of Cardiff. He had a role in the critically acclaimed film Titus Andronicus, starring alongside Anthony Hopkins. He has also appeared in several other films such as The Lost World, Whatever happened to Harold Smith, Love and other Disasters and Deathwatch.
